Walk with a professional fisherman and shared aperitif

Activity description :

Come and enjoy a moment of pure conviviality with Jean-Marie, a professional fisherman from Bordeaux. He'll take you aboard his boat to show you the banks of the Garonne. Afterwards, enjoy an aperitif together on the boat!

Course of the activity:

• You will meet Jean-Marie in front of the gardens of the Cité des Vins, and he will take you out on his boat: "Les tontons flingueurs".
• You'll accompany him on his fishing boat for a pleasant and original trip on the Garonne: this will be an opportunity to discover the river in its natural state, as well as hearing his account of his job as a professional fisherman. A unique and original opportunity to discover that the Garonne is as beautiful as it is rich, and remains wild and natural.
• This activity is enjoyed in small groups, up to a maximum of 12 people, to make it even more enjoyable! You'll cruise along the Garonne on his boat to discover the local flora and fauna. Jean-Marie will show you the famous carrelets, fishermen's huts perched on the banks of the river.
• Afterwards, you'll share an aperitif on the boat, and Jean-Marie will be able to offer you his specialities from the fishery: white prawns with wild fennel or pan-fried eels with garlic and parsley or fillet of catfish (optional). He will also provide a large cool box and recyclable glasses. You can bring whatever you like to share: nibbles and drinks (within reason).
