Team-Building Survival Camp in the Notre-Dame Forest (94)

Activity description :

Participants will compete in a variety of challenging activities and specific scenarios designed to foster cohesion, trust, and synergy. The team will be more united by the end of this team-building event.

On the agenda:

• Orienteering: After an introduction to using a compass and azimuths, participants will need to locate markers and retrieve bags containing shelter kits. The most methodical and fastest teams will win this first challenge.
• Shelter-building: Setting up a shelter using only a tarp, a piece of string, and three wooden stakes. Coordination and teamwork are essential.
• Water filtration: After receiving a basic kit, some blackish water (coffee grounds), and only what they can find in the forest, teams must build a water filter and return within 15 minutes with the clearest water possible.
• The Stretcher: Using a tarp and two branches, the group must build a stretcher and carry a teammate along a marked course through the forest. Coordination and communication are essential—and laughter is guaranteed!
• The “Tasting ”: A quiz on entomophagy followed by insect tastings. A great opportunity to push your limits
• The ultimate challenge: the fire! After a demonstration by the instructor and using a traditional kit consisting of a small board, a bow, a fire striker, and a wooden drill, the teams will have to coordinate and organize themselves to create, through friction, the embers needed to set a bundle of hay ablaze. The instructor will guide all teams to success, but the fastest team will win this challenge. A truly powerful and emotional moment.

This team-building activity in the great outdoors will reveal their tenacity and fighting spirit—crucial qualities in times of crisis. Solidarity will also be a testament to their adventurous spirit. Away from their usual work environment, your teams will enjoy an emotionally rich experience. An unforgettable experience. Only when team members come together can they be truly strong!
