Activity description :
Enjoy a unique night with your coworkers on a survival retreat! This activity will teach you how to build a campfire, set up camp, and find shelter for the night! Whatever your event, Cyril and his team will do everything they can to make sure you have an exceptional experience!
Course itinerary:
- Read a map, identify landmarks, and plan your route (azimuth).
- Use a compass and determine your location.
- Navigation, hiking, and obstacle crossing.
- Setting up base camp after selecting a suitable location.
- Setting up camp and making tools.
- Starting a fire: the 4 methods.
- Finding food and water (foraging, hunting, fishing, etc.).
- Making a trap.
- Finding drinking water & water purification techniques.
- Identifying edible plants and insects.
- Preparing food (preparing game, cooking, wood fires, etc.).
- Understanding clouds and forecasting the weather.
- Making arrows and a spear thrower.
- Axe throwing and tool use.
- How to tie the most commonly used knots.
- Basic first aid, emergency signaling, and first aid.
- Physical fitness and nutrition.

Know before you go
- The course can be taken over 2 days and 1 night or 3 days and 2 nights.
- Courses are held from March through October.
- You have the option to rent a survival course kit.
- You don’t need to be an exceptional athlete to survive this course.
- The equipment—tents, sleeping bags, stoves, etc.—is maintained and cleaned after each outing. Lightweight and comfortable, it will keep you warm and sheltered.
- Your guide, Cyril, knows the locations inside and out; he has scouted and selected them to ensure they pose no danger to you or your team.
