Introduction to ecological stained glass in Montfa (09)

Activity description :

Join us in Florence for a workshop unique in France: an ecological stained glass creation workshop. During this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to create a mirror adorned with stained glass!

Course of the activity (7 hours):

• Meeting with Florence and visit to her workshop.
• Theoretical part: Florence will tell you how she discovered this technique, which she is the only one to use in France.
• You'll then choose the shape of the mirror you'd like to decorate.
• Practical part: glass cutting and recycling of various salvaged items (e.g. wine bottles).
• Give free rein to your creativity by playing with colors, shapes and volumes.
• Lunch break (not included)
• Manufacture the lead-free (paper-based) tie that will hold the stained glass in place.
• You'll leave with your very own 100% unique creation.
