Modeling workshop: plate duo in Marseille (13)

Activity description :

Welcome to Bénédicte's workshop, where she'll teach you how to make your own creations by introducing you to the potter's wheel and modeling. The clay used is fired at high temperature in an electric kiln, between 1250 and 1270°C.

Workshop schedule (2h):

• Learning plate techniques.
• Creation of a duo of plates with plant imprints
• Starting with a ball of clay, you'll roll it out with a rolling pin and then place leaves, flowers and stems to imprint on the clay and form your plate.
• Leave with your own creations.

The aim of this workshop is not only to introduce you to a new manual and artistic practice, but also to offer you a unique experience alongside a passionate craftswoman.
