Chantilly is located in the Oise department, in the Hauts-de-France region, 53 km from Beauvais. Situated in the heart of the Chantilly Forest, in the Nonette Valley, it is crisscrossed by the river of the same name and by the Oise, a river in the Paris Basin. The southern part of the town is bordered by the Thève Valley.
The town is known for its many treasures, which are well worth exploring: the Château de Chantilly with the Condé Museum and its park; the racetrack; and the Lace Museum.
This is probably the town’s greatest treasure!
