The Linas-Montlhéry track was designed by Raymond Jamin and built in 1924 to meet the needs of the automotive industry and its drivers in search of speed and competition records.
For decades, numerous records were set on the track, which has since become one of the most legendary and emblematic in France. The 1000 km of Paris, the Bol d'Or competition, the Golden Age Grand Prix, F2 and F3 single-seater races... numerous car and motorcycle events have taken place, and still take place today, on the Montlhéry track.
In 2001, it was even awarded the "Heritage of the 20th Century" label! Situated some thirty kilometers south of Paris, in the Essonne region, the site is today a place steeped in history, one of the oldest tracks in the region, and above all an ideal place to discover the rudiments of sports driving.
The Linas-Montlhéry autodrome has four tracks: the speed ring, the road track, the off-road track and the main 3.405 track.
The school track, specially designed for driving courses, measures 1.8 kilometers and is around 10 meters wide, with concave bends, curves, two straight lines for acceleration and a 51% gradient.
It's a winding, technical and hilly track that will allow you to test and fully appreciate the handling of your car! On site, you'll be welcomed by a team of professionals who will be on hand throughout your course to guide you and teach you the basics and techniques of driving.
After a theoretical briefing on the safety precautions to be observed, you'll embark as a passenger in a touring car for two laps of the track.
