Canyoning in the Barranco de Zarzalones, departing from Marbella

Discover one of Andalusia’s most spectacular canyoning adventures at the Barranco de Zarzalones. You’ll rappel down waterfalls, dive into crystal-clear pools, slide down natural rock formations, and swim through channels carved out by an underground river.

What to expect:

• This excursion includes about 3 to 4 hours inside the canyon, but the entire activity lasts approximately 6 hours, including transportation.
• It is designed for adventurous beginners or anyone in good physical condition who wants to push their limits in the great outdoors. Participants must be between 14 and 55 years old, be confident swimmers, and not be afraid of heights or jumping into the water.
• The activity takes place in Yunquera, in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, about 50 to 60 minutes from Marbella. Your guide will pick you up in the Marbella area, and throughout the drive, you’ll enjoy a scenic route punctuated by commentary on the region, making this adventure the perfect blend of exploration and thrills.
• Your excursion is led by an experienced, certified, English-speaking canyoning guide.
• All technical equipment is provided: wetsuit, helmet, harness, and ropes, as well as life jackets if needed.
• We recommend bringing athletic shoes with good traction, but canyoning shoes can also be provided if necessary.
