Ceramic workshop to create a set of spoons in Les Lilas

Activity description :

It's in a bright and welcoming workshop just outside Paris, in Les Lilas, that you'll meet ceramics specialists Olivia and Amanda. They'll introduce you to clay modeling, and help you create a set of ceramic spoons for later use in the kitchen.

Course of the workshop (2h):

• You'll learn all the steps involved in creating a ceramic piece, from choosing the design to working with the template and shaping.
• You'll be introduced to plate work and modeling , so let your imagination run wild.
• Amanda will accompany you every step of the way, offering invaluable advice.
• After the workshop and complete drying of your pieces, they will be fired twice: at 1200°, then at 980° after glazing. This process, which solidifies and gives a beautiful finish to your pieces, takes several weeks.
• Amanda will enamel your pieces and then contact you to collect them.

For all uses: coffee, dessert, mustard or aperitif, and in all shapes: large, small, skimmers, ladles... it's up to you to choose the spoons that make up your set! You'll go home with a unique set of handcrafted spoons!
