Activity description :

Get started with hand embroidery and learn the basic stitches to personalize a piece of clothing or a textile accessory. You’ll leave with your project well underway (and everything you need to finish it at home), as well as the technical basics to continue embroidering on your own!

Workshop Schedule (2.5 hours):

• Learning essential embroidery stitches
• Choose a design from those available on-site (see photos)
• Customize the fabric you’ve brought (T-shirt, tote bag, shirt, etc.)
• You’ll leave with your customized garment!
• If you haven’t finished your embroidery, you’ll take home the threads you need to finish it

What to bring:

• An item of clothing or accessory made of cotton, linen, denim, etc.
• Avoid fabrics that are too thin (silk, satin), too worn, or too thick (leather)—the needle should be able to pass through easily
