Come and discover the Japanese art of ikebana during a 1h30 introductory workshop! Come and create a real ikebana with a master of the art, in a Zen atmosphere in the heart of Lyon.

Course of the activity (1h30) :

• Theoretical notions: Yuko, Master of ikebana, will show you the different tools you'll be using and explain the specific techniques involved in creating ikebana and the philosophy behind the practice.
• Basic principles of construction, followed by the creation of your own composition.
• Practical part: choice of plants, branches and flowers to decorate your composition.
• As ikebana is ephemeral, you won't go home with your creation, but you'll be given all the tips you need to reproduce it at home.
