Gather your group for a unique and creative linocut workshop and work together to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake for the bride-to-be or groom-to-be. During this activity, you’ll learn the basics of printmaking and design personalized motifs that will then be used to create a group T-shirt featuring the star of the day.
Workshop itinerary:
- Learn the basics of linocut printing and get familiar with the different tools used.
- Using a gouge, carve your design into a linoleum plate to create your own relief stamp.
- Each participant creates a personalized design inspired by the bride-to-be or groom-to-be.
- Then use the various stamps created by the group to compose a collective design.
- Apply fabric paint using an ink roller to transfer your design onto the T-shirt.
- Take home a unique, personalized T-shirt, created together to commemorate your bachelorette or bachelor party.
A creative, fun, and original activity to share a special moment with your group while creating a personalized keepsake that the bride-to-be or groom-to-be can cherish long after the event.
