Activity description :

Embark on a magical sunset cruise from Marseille aboard a traditional sailboat privatized for your group. Let yourself be enchanted by the gentle sea breeze as the sun begins to hide on the horizon, painting the sky and coast in golden and orange hues.

The route - From the Mucem basin to the Frioul archipelago - 3h30

Departing from the Mucem basin, near Marseille's old port, you'll board a sailboat and head for the Frioul islands. As the sun sets, the sea calms and you can relax and contemplate the remarkable sights of Marseille's harbor. As soon as you set sail, the Captain invites you to take the helm. On board, everyone can take part in the maneuvers and/or enjoy the panorama: hoisting the sails, taking the helm. An aperitif will be served to enjoy the last rays of sunshine.

The boat

La Flâneuse, an 18-meter tartane malonnière, is the only example of the workboats that plied the coasts of Provence in the 19th century. The deck of this wooden ship is encircled by a bulwark for safe passage. With its auric rigging and pronounced sheer, La Flâneuse combines elegance, authenticity and comfort for sailing.

Know before you go

Cruises from April to November. The departure time will be specified after booking. You embark approximately 2h30 before sunset.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure time.
The boat can accommodate a maximum of 13 people.
Swimming breaks are included.
Meeting point on the Mucem basin quay (J4 dock).
Bring swimsuit, picnic basket and warm clothing.
The activity may be postponed if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Activity subject to weather conditions.
Disabled people welcome on board.
