Visit Marseille's calanques with a cruise aboard an eco-friendly ship. The cruise will take you between Marseille's Old Port and the Parc National des Calanques from 10am to 5pm. You'll be able to see the cliffs, the pine trees and the turquoise water!
The route - from the Vieux-Port to the Parc National des Calanques
Duration: 7 hours
Departing from the Vieux-Port at 10 a.m., you'll take a 7-hour guided cruise to discover Marseille. You'll first cross the harbor to theParc National des Calanques , where you'll learn about the ecology and preservation of this area. Enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters. From 12:30 pm to 2 pm, an aperitif and lunch will be served, including a cold vegetarian buffet and 1 glass of rosé. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Riou archipelago and the calanques of Sormiou, Morgiou and Sugiton. You'll return to the Old Port around 5pm.
The boat
You'll be aboard a 12-person hybrid-powered motorboat. It's fully equipped for your comfort: 1 sunbathing area on the bow, table, deck shower and sanitary facilities.

Very pleasant and smiling welcome, interesting explanations about the sailboat and the cruise. What a delight to see Marseille from the sea! Lunch of very good quality, but lacking in local products such as tapenade, ratatouille, sardine fillets or caillette? Swimming in the calanques is a great way to cool off and discover the sea bed. The lack of wind prevented us from taking advantage of the sails, but it was a very pleasant day. Thank you very much!

A marvellous day which enabled us to discover a superb site with a very friendly captain (Marc) who took us to a small calanque (calanque du podestat) where we swam several times, then calanque de Sormiou, another swim, île de Riou, swim (lots of fish observed), and last swim at calanque de la Maronaise (the water seemed to be colder), A truly exceptional day, with glorious weather (little wind, flat sea and, of course, sunshine). We were with our grandchildren, who also enjoyed themselves.

Absolutely recommend. Great way to see the Calanques from the sea. The meal served was delicious and copious. Thibault, our captain and guide, was knowledgeable. He navigated to hidden treasures that made this trip fantastic. He provided snorkling equipment. The price is very good for the quality of service.
