Tickets for the Musée Balzac in Saché (37)

Activity description :

Since its opening in 1951, this museum has paid tribute to the 19th-century French writer Honoré de Balzac. It was to Saché that Balzac came to get away from the metropolis, to write and recharge his batteries. Take a look at the museum's 2,300 exhib its, including manuscripts, paintings, prints and printing equipment.

• Open 7 days a week, all year round
• April, May and June, daily: 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-6pm
• July and August, daily: 10am-7pm
• September and October, daily: 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-6pm
• Between November 1 and March 31, closed Tuesdays: 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-5pm
• Annual closure on January 1 and December 25
