Activity description :

Jean-Marc, a former French champion with thousands of hours in the air, welcomes you to ourultralight flying school at the Cessieu la Tour-du-Pin aerodrome, 40 minutes from Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry. You'll fly aboard a pendular ultralight, a small machine made up of a rigid sail supporting a motorized carriage and capable of speeds of up to 65 km/h.

Microlight piloting in Cessieu: breathtaking scenery

Discover the magical landscapes of the Alps, with panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif, the Vercors and the Chartreuse , during your introduction to microlight piloting. Departing from Cessieu, you'll also have the opportunity to fly over the châteaux of Virieu.

Course of the initiation :

• Welcome at the Cessieu airfield: 30-minute briefing session on the machine's operation, piloting and safety rules.
• Departure and installation in the microlight for the flight.
• Take-off and 30 or 45-minute flight: a real flying lesson, in dual control with the professional gyrocopter instructor.
• Landing and debriefing (10 minutes) with the instructor.
