Jean-Marc, a former French champion with thousands of hours in the air, welcomes you to our flying school at the Cessieu la Tour-du-Pin airfield, 40 minutes from Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry. Thegyrocopter ultralight is a free-spinning, propeller-driven aircraft. Its ability to evolve in the air, its short take-offs and landings will give you a marvellous flying experience.

Microlight flying at Cessieu: the perfect spot

Departing from the Tour-du-Pin-Cessieu aerodrome, you'll discover the breathtaking scenery of the Alps, with panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif, Vercors and Chartreuse. You'll also have the chance to fly over the châteaux of Virieu.

Course of the initiation :

• Welcome at the Cessieu airfield: 30-minute briefing session on machine operation, piloting and safety rules.
• Departure and installation in the microlight for the flight.
• Take-off and 30 or 45-minute flight: a real flying lesson, in dual control with the professional gyrocopter instructor.
• Landing and debriefing (10 minutes) with the instructor.
