Have you ever heard someone say at a party or dinner, “I like its fruity and woody notes,” and wished you could describe your wine in the same way? Module 2 of the VOG® (Visual-Olfactory-Gustatory) teaching method allows you to deepen your knowledge of wine tasting.
Recognizing and remembering aromas will be the central themes of this course. Get your noses ready!
Course Outline (4 hours):
- The workshop begins with a theoretical section to familiarize you with oenology. The winemaking process, different types of wines, and grape varieties will be explained.
- Then, you’ll participate in aroma recognition games designed to help you discover their origins. You’ll learn about all the factors that influence the aromas you perceive, how to recognize and classify them, and how to use them to draw conclusions about the age and origin of the wine being tasted.
- Seven wines are scheduled for tasting.
- Each participant will receive an educational booklet and some goodies.
This wine-tasting course will allow you to deepen your knowledge of wine tasting in a fun and engaging way, all in a friendly atmosphere.
