Activity description :

Come and experience a 3-hour immersion in the skin of a chef, and leave with your very own baos! Ying will take you step-by-step through the production process, and reveal all the secrets to making this stuffed bread at home.
Course of the activity (3h):
- Welcome and brief explanation of the history of bao.
- Two recipes will be prepared: one with meat, one with vegetables.
- You'll learn how to knead the dough.
- Make your own fillings
- You'll discover the art of weaving
- Finally, you'll taste your baos and take home any leftovers.
At the end of this course, you'll have all the keys you need to repeat this delicious Chinese specialty for your aperitif dinners!

My daughter, a young teenager, and I really enjoyed the bao workshop in a small group of 12 people. The facilitator gave us invaluable advice on how to make a success of our baos. If you're not used to it, practice drowning vegetables or you'll fall behind the others! I'd recommend this workshop and I'm thinking of signing up for another one, probably the ramen one. Enjoy!

Very good experience, the workshop is well structured with a training phase before the baos are made. The workshop leader was very pedagogical, and provided lots of advice and anecdotes that set the pace of the workshop. The 3h30 passed very quickly.
