Beer brewing workshop in Versailles (78)

Activity description :

Ronan or Emilien, master brewers, warmly welcome you to a moment of discovery. This experience will immerse you completely in the world of beer and brewing.

Workshop schedule (4h) :

• Welcome and workshop briefing.
• You'll start mashing and "brewing" your precious beverage for 1 hour.
• You'll wash the spent grains to remove the sugars.
• Then you add the famous "hops" (boiling).
• Cool the "slack" and ferment it with the yeast.
• Come back 2 weeks later for bottling (about 1 hour).

The workshop is done in pairs and includes a lot of things:

• Choice of your own beer recipe from 5 tried-and-tested recipes.
• Comprehensive presentation on the history of beer, how it's made and the revival of craft beer.
• Tasting of 3 different craft beers, with a presentation on beer styles (low fermentation, lambic, etc.).
• Bottling and capping of your beer after 2 weeks of fermentation (15 liters or 30 bottles of 50cl).
• Your 30 bottles (50cl) are labeled with the name of your choice.
