Halloween pumpkin workshop at Cueillette de Torfou (91)

Located in the Essonne department, between Torfou and Lardy, 45 km south of Paris, La Cueillette de Torfou is a farm open to the public that is part of the Chapeau de Paille network. For Halloween, it offers one-hour workshops for children ages 6 to 12 who want to customize a spooky pumpkin to take home!

How the activity works:

• Children will be welcomed on-site at the scheduled time for your workshop. You must bring your reservation voucher.
• The children will choose a pumpkin to decorate and hollow out, with guidance and advice from our team.
• The workshop fee (€10 per child) includes the pumpkin, a candle, a glass of apple juice, and a small cake
• The tools for carving the pumpkin are provided
• ALL WORKSHOPS INVOLVE CARVING.

Practical information:

• Online registration is required—space is limited per workshop!
• We strongly recommend that you arrive wearing warm, stain-resistant clothing.
• Open to children ages 6 to 12.
• Adult supervision is recommended for younger children—accompanying adults do not pay for the workshop. Generally, you may pick produce during the workshop, but parents are advised to stay nearby.
• The activity takes place in a greenhouse, so it’s outdoors but sheltered; you may have to walk through muddy areas, so be sure to bring boots if it rained the day before
