- Up to 16 people
- From 4 years old
Rutel Farm is offering a pumpkin-carving workshop from Wednesday, October 21, through Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Here’s what’s on the agenda:
- Upon arrival, please check in at the farm stand reception desk with your ticket.
- Children start by choosing their pumpkin.
- With the help and guidance of a workshop leader, the children hollow out their squash, carve it, and decorate it however they like, under the supervision of a responsible parent.
- Each child goes home with their carved and decorated pumpkin, along with a candle to celebrate Halloween at home!
Each workshop lasts approximately 1 hour. The price includes the pumpkin, the workshop, and one candle per participant.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (the workshop is free and no reservation is required for the accompanying adult). One adult may accompany several children (up to 3 children), but there can be no more than one accompanying adult per child.
Please note that the number of workshops and spots per workshop is limited: be sure to reserve your spot! Reservations can only be made online and cannot be changed: each time slot is fixed and non-changeable.
For the occasion, the Rutel Farm will be beautifully decorated; feel free to come in costume to take a photo in front of our Halloween decorations!

No Halloween decorations. Complicated puzzle for children. Disappointed with this activity

As a long-time customer of the cueillette, we regularly come to the pumpkin carving workshop this year. I found that the welcome from the children and parents wasn't top-notch ...

They set up a table for us, showed us the tools and told us to go ahead if you need any help, give us a call 11 bucks for that's a bit steep OK we got a little drawing by taking out a candle

It's a nice idea, but I'm a little disappointed with the way it works. You arrive, pick your pumpkin and off you go. It was Everyone for his pumpkin. The workshop was very (too) fast. We were done in 20 minutes, yet we took our time. A bit expensive for what it was, so...

We got the pumpkin, we got the tools, but what was missing was a welcome with explanations. So I think it's a bit expensive for a pumpkin.

Nice activity... from age 8, clearly not before, or else it's the parents who do everything! I just find it really lacking in supervision! There's no advice, no guidance... you're on your own with your pumpkins! The advantage of being on site is that they provide us with the right tools to dig...I just expected more animation from the staff...

Great activity. However, too many people so no bench to sit on. Grandma would have liked to sit down. An "animator" who wasn't smiling at all. When you're dealing with children, you have to be zen, especially when they're different. Fortunately, the other hostess was more pleasant. My grandchildren enjoyed the activity. Grandma a little less so.

It's a pity that the child is left to his own devices.

Disappointed with this workshop, which is very nice, but not suitable for children under 8/10. Children can't use most of the utensils because they're too small, and if they don't want to put their hands in the pumpkin, they don't do anything... which is a shame... As we also heard during the workshop, this is a workshop for parents... I won't repeat the experience.

Fun and easy to do with children. It's an outdoor activity, but it was a bit chilly at 9am. The benches and tables provided for the activity were damp, so perhaps we should invest in a barnum to shelter the children from the wind and rain. Messy activities: it's worth mentioning the need for appropriate clothing, but if aprons and gloves could have been lent to the children, that would have been a plus. Remember to take wipes to clean your hands at the end of the activity.

I thought they were going to help us make beautiful decorations, but no, they just lend us the materials so we can do it at home. Which we'll do next year, but we'll come and buy the pumpkin from you.
