Step into the shoes of an apprentice beekeeper for a half-day immersion experience in Daux, just 20 minutes from Toulouse!

A fun, sensory, and exciting introduction—perfect for marveling at bees in complete safety.

Workshop itinerary (3.5 hours):

• Welcome & Secrets of the Hive: a captivating dive into the life of the colony (the roles of the queen and worker bees, and the importance of pollination) to understand the world of bees.
• Equipment & Immersion in the Apiary: Put on your protective suit (provided) and learn the basics of beekeeping, including how to use the smoker.
• Hands-On Experience & Observation: a guided opening of a hive to observe the bees in full activity, identify the brood, pollen, and honey stores.
• Gourmet Tasting: Wrap up on a sweet note with a guided tasting of the farm’s honeys and a discovery of the hive’s treasures.
