Immerse yourself in the world of apitherapy duringa one-day introductory workshop at a beekeeping farm near Toulouse. Guided by a passionate beekeeper, discover the benefits of bee products and learn how to make your own natural cosmetics using honey, beeswax, propolis, and pollen. From exploring the apiary to theoretical lessons and a hands-on workshop, enjoy an authentic experience and leave with your creations—plus all the tips you need to recreate them at home.

Activity Schedule

• Welcome to the farm and overview of the day’s program.
• Explore the various bee products (honey, beeswax, pollen, royal jelly, and propolis), as well as their properties and uses in apitherapy.
• Introduction to the principles of apitherapy and the creation of natural wellness and cosmetic products.
• Tour of the apiary (from April to October, weather permitting), wearing protective beekeeping gear, to observe the bees and learn about harvesting pollen, beeswax, and propolis directly from the frames.
• Lunch break (please bring your own picnic) before continuing the experience in the lab.
• Introduction to the equipment and best practices for production: measuring ingredients, hygiene rules, and natural preservation methods.
• Make several handmade cosmetics, such as lip balm, a protective cream, or a soothing treatment, using bee products.
• You’ll take home all the products you’ve made, along with recipe cards so you can recreate them at home.
