iFly welcomes you to an extraordinary experience: indoor freefall with a virtual reality headset! The sports wind tunnel, or wind tunnel freefall simulator, is an ideal activity for adrenalin-lovers.
What is a wind tunnel?
A wind tunnel, also known as an indoor free-fall simulator, is a 14-meter-high glass tube that reproduces the sensations of free-fall at an altitude of 4,000 meters.
How does it work?
Duration of experience: 1h30 - Up to 13 people - From 12 years upwards
On arrival, you'll receive a safety briefing and be equipped with a flight suit, helmet and goggles. You'll then fly in the free-fall simulator: your instructor will help you find a stable position.
Ultimate 4D Experience
- 2 flights equivalent to 2 airplane jumps at 4000m
- 1 immersive flight equipped with a virtual reality headset to live the Ultimate 4D experience, with your choice of a parachute jump over Lyon or a Wingsuit flight in the heart of the French Alps.

Know before you go
- Please note that it is necessary to arrive one hour before the start of the flight, so please arrive at the time confirmed by e-mail.
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the day of the flight.
- The parent/guardian must provide a signature or parental authorization, and attend the pre-flight briefing.
- No previous shoulder trauma.
- No medical contraindications for back, neck or heart problems.
- Not suitable for pregnant women.
- No hyperlaxity.
- Height and weight restrictions: weigh less than 115 kg if less than 1.85 m tall, and less than 136 kg if over 1.85 m tall (there is no height limit).
- Maximum head size for helmets: 61 cm.
- Tip for the 4D experience: if you wear glasses, we strongly advise you not to wear them, or to use contact lenses, to ensure the best possible experience.
- Bring an elastic band for long hair, comfortable clothes and lace-up sneakers.
