Circuit Fay-de-Bretagne: the guide to a successful driving experience

Circuit history

Circuit de Fay de Bretagne, also known as Circuit de Loire-Atlantique, is an automobile test track created in 1993.

The associated pits were created in 1999. Originally, the circuit was used to test Venturi sports cars, manufactured at Couëron.

Designed to test cars in a wide variety of situations, it has seen some of the world's greatest models pass through its paces, including the Venturi 600 SLM, developed on this track.

Today, the track is mainly dedicated to road safety, following a decision by the General Council.

Although it is primarily dedicated to road safety, it also hosts a number of motoring events, as well as workshops to improve driving skills and road safety.

Technical specifications & route

The Fay de Bretagne circuit has three layouts.

The first, the full circuit, is 3.3 kilometers long and is mainly dedicated to Open Days, special days.

The second is a 2.2-kilometer school circuit with hairpin bends and fast corners.

Finally, a 1.5-kilometer circuit is dedicated to road safety.

The main layout features a long straight stretch of almost one kilometer. Alternating between slow and tight bends at the beginning of the track, it nevertheless features some fast corners in its final stretch.

Ideal for experts in the field. In fact, with a total of 14 turns, there's something for every taste: relief, blind, asymmetrical, slow, fast, leaning, etc.

This excellent diversity of turns will provide an all-round driving experience even for novices, where speed combines with technique to enjoy a highly enjoyable track.
