Climbing park in Rillieux-la-Pape at Fort de Vancia

During this activity, you'll be able to take part in aerial accrobranche courses.

The adventure park is located on the Fort de Vancia, a 150-year-old stronghold used to defend the city of Lyon. The park features 9 zip lines, the longest of which measures 75 meters!

How it works :

Equipped with a harness and karabiners, and after a safety briefing, you'll set off on the various adventure courses (depending on your level). You'll climb from tree to tree along a steel cable, overcoming various obstacles.

It takes an average of 25 minutes to complete an aerial course, and around 3 hours for all courses. Tickets give access to all the courses for an unlimited time during the day until the park closes, depending on the participant's abilities.

The courses are 100% secured with a continuous lifeline, meaning that participants cannot detach themselves from the cable until the course has been completed.

The courses :

• Discovery course (easy level) : from 7-8 years and 1.30 m, but also for adults, this course is a good warm-up: nets, 35m zip line, monkey bridge...
• Parcours Evasion (easy-medium level) : From 1.30 m and 8 years, this course is made up of original workshops in the Fort's pits.
• Parcours Famille (medium level) : from 1.30 m, this course is slightly harder than the Discovery Course. Ideal for family fun.
• Sensation Course (medium level) : from 1.30 m, this course will put your flexibility to the test!
• Adventure Course (intermediate level) : from 1m35 upwards, this course takes you on a tour of the fort's underground passages.
• Thrill Course (intermediate level) : from 1m35 upwards, the Fort's pits will hold no more secrets for you.
• Challenge Course (intermediate level): from 1.35 m, this course takes you up to 14 m above the ground, with slightly more physical challenges.
• Parcours Sportif (difficult level) : from 1m40 and 12 years, this course will take you across the pits with more difficult and technical workshops.
• Expert course (very difficult level) : from 1m60 upwards, this is the park's most challenging course, featuring some very physical workshops.
