Introduction to drone piloting near Lyon (69)

Activity description :

Come and learn to fly a drone near Lyon on a private outdoor practice site with 700 hectares of flying space. Supervised by professional, qualified instructors, you'll learn how to fly a drone, while learning about the legislation. You're not part of a group, just with your family and friends and your dedicated instructor.

Course of the activity (2h to 4h):

• Welcome and introduction
• Presentation of the drones, depending on the formula chosen
• Theoretical session on the basics of aeronautics and drone piloting, drone components and how they work, piloting rules and best practices.
• Practical demonstration
• Getting to grips with the controls, followed by piloting exercises
• Question and answer session and debriefing

This sequence of events can be adapted according to participants' level of experience, the duration of the initiation and the resources available.

Formulas available:

• Junior 2h or 4h: 4 different consumer and semi-professional drone models weighing less than 500 grams.
• Certified 2h or 4h: 7 different consumer and professional drone models under 2kg.
• Expert 2h or 4h: 10 different consumer, semi-professional and professional drone models up to 4kg. Complete package including: introduction to autopilot mode, introduction to shooting, use of automatic modes, use of VR-type FPV (first-person view) goggles, use of a professional drone dedicated to cinema at the end of the session with 360-degree swivel camera. A 32G micro SD card is included with your drone photos and videos.
