Activity description :

Take the plunge and embark on the magnificent adventure of skydiving over Etretat and the Normandy coast! At a top-quality skydiving school with a human-sized team that has made over 80,000 jumps in 20 years of activity, you'll enjoy a first flight in optimal conditions.

The Normandy coast: a superb location for a tandem skydive

You'll discover the superb landscapes of the Normandy coast. You'll have a breathtaking view of the cliffs of Etretat and famous Calvados towns such as Deauville and Honfleur, not far from the D-Day landing beaches. This is one of the most beautiful parachute jumps to be made in Normandy, and indeed in France.

Course of the activity :

To begin, you'll take part in a 15-minute "briefing".
Once you've been kitted out, it's time to board the plane for a flight lasting around 10 to 15 minutes.
At a minimum altitude of 3,000 meters, the aircraft door opens and it's time for you to take the plunge into the void in tandem freefall, at 200 km/h! Clinging to your instructor, you'll fill up on thrills and adrenalin.
At an altitude of 1500 meters, your instructor will open the parachute. It's time for a ride under canopy, enjoying a few minutes in the silence of the air...
Then it's time for your instructor to land the parachute. On arrival, you'll receive a diploma and a T-shirt.

The center: you'll make your tandem jump with a professional skydiver whose role will be to steer the fall, correct your position, open the parachute, steer the canopy and manage the landing.

This activity is ideal as a gift (for Christmas or a birthday) or as part of a bachelor party.

Know before you go

Season: April to October.
Allow half a day on site.
Please note: once the date has been agreed, if the jump has to be postponed for weather-related reasons, a new jump date will have to be agreed (no refund in the event of weather-related postponement).
It is recommended to have eaten before the jump.
Personal cameras are not permitted, due to the risk of loss of equipment and insurance issues.
According to regulations, the following products are forbidden in the cabin: flammable products, toxic and corrosive products, explosives and ammunition, lithium batteries, compressed gases, radioactive materials and magnetic masses.
Make sure you wear the right outfit for relaxed skydiving: jeans, sneakers and seasonal clothing.

Conditions :

Maximum weight: 80kg for women, 90kg for men.
A medical certificate of no contraindication to skydiving less than three months old for minors, over-50s and people with a medical history will be required.
A parental authorization signed by both parents is mandatory for minors: "We, the undersigned, Mr and Mrs X, authorize our child Y to skydive on .../.../...".
Not accessible to pregnant women or people with reduced mobility.
