Located on the Mimizan airfield, this professional skydiving centre enjoys a huge and beautiful site, a few kilometres from the ocean. Mimizan is a seaside resort in the south-west of France, in the Landes. Skydiving in the Landes by the sea is an exceptional experience as you will have a breathtaking view of the entire coastline and the Atlantic coast. You will be amazed during the whole jump!

Course of the skydive

Allow half a day for your activity

• You will be welcomed by the team who will give you a briefing and a short theoretical training on the jump and the safety instructions.
• You will then board the plane and take a 20 minute flight to reach the desired altitude: a good opportunity to enjoy the magnificent Landes countryside and its superb beaches.
• At an altitude of approximately 4,200 metres, the plane door opens and it's time for the big jump, in tandem with your professional instructor. You feel the stress rising before launching yourself into the void for a memorable minute of free fall, at nearly 200 km/h!
• At 1500 metres, the instructor willopen the parachute and you will enjoy a few minutes of descent under the parachute canopy, before a soft landing.
• Once on the airport tarmac, you will be delighted to tell your friends and family about this experience and to debrief your instructor!
