Learn how to best combine wine and cheese during this oenological workshop in Rennes. You'll explore the great diversity of French cheeses, how to pair them with different styles of wine, and tips for creating original pairings.
Course of the workshop (2h):
- You'll cover the following topics:
- The main cheese families
- The basics of wine and cheese pairing
- Different types of wine (vins de voile, vins mutés...)
- Tricky pairings
- Original pairings
- Tasting and analysis of 5 wines and 5 cheeses
- Each participant leaves with an educational pack and receives an educational booklet by e-mail at the end of the course.
Led by an expert sommelier, this oenological experience will enable you to master the subtleties of this pairing in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

A beautiful presentation and a wonderful evening. An excellent host who was delighted to learn about and discover the various wines and cheeses on offer. Disappointed that it ended after 2 hours and I would have liked to have stayed on to discover other bottles. Thank you

The trainer is pleasant and knows his stuff. Good explanations and answers to questions. However, I deplore the absence of a memo at the end of the session summarizing the content of the workshop. No sheets to take notes, whereas it was indicated to take a pen. The overhead projector only worked for a few minutes. It presented the different categories of cheese, and we went through the subject very quickly.
