Cross car racing is an activity that originated in Sweden in the 1980s as a fun, accessible, affordable, and safe experience for everyone. Cross cars, also known as buggies, are built like race cars and are available in various engine sizes, ranging from 125cc to 650cc. The 125cc class is a junior class open to those aged 12 and above, although training can start as young as 10. The 250cc and above classes are open to individuals over 16 years old. However, some centers restrict participation to those over 18.

The price includes complete equipment for your session, including overalls, gloves, helmet, and cross goggles. Just bring along sneakers and casual attire to be perfectly comfortable in the buggy.
Upon arrival at the meeting point, you'll be greeted by the team and professional instructors. Snacks, fruit juice, and coffee will be available, along with your driving gear which you'll need to put on. Your instructor, certified BPJEPS, will brief you and explain the safety instructions for a session that's as fun as it is secure. Once in the cross car, you'll start with a series of approximately 2 reconnaissance laps of the circuit to get accustomed to the terrain and technical aspects. Then, depending on the package you've chosen, you'll proceed with laps around the circuit, tackling fast turns and tight corners. Thrills and enthusiasm guaranteed! Some centers also offer endurance or speed races, either in duels or groups, for even more fun! At the end of the driving session, the center's team will present you with a diploma.
The Henri Bellin Circuit, near Poitiers in the Vienne department, offers you the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a cross car as part of a driving experience filled with thrills. You'll have the chance to discover and/or improve your driving skills with the techniques taught on the circuit. The track, 1.1 km long and 13 to 16 meters wide, allows you to test fast turns and tight corners. It's perfect for a first-time buggy driving experience. The buggy is a PRM model equipped with a 602cc engine. An instructor guides you throughout the activity to learn to drive like a true champion! The driving session is limited to a maximum of 10 people and is open to those aged 16 and above. However, parental authorization is required for minors.
