The enclos des Gobelins, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris and listed as a historic monument, was created in the 17th century at the instigation of Henri IV. The Gobelins, Beauvais and Savonnerie factories are three of France's leading tapestry and carpet manufacturers, dedicated to supplying tapestries and carpets to the official palaces of the Republic.

On this tour, your guide will take you behind the scenes of the liciers' workshops. Visit two of the three workshops still in operation and discover the precision and meticulousness with which the art technicians work, those who fashion monumental works after models by contemporary artists and reproduce the finest works for official palaces.

- To respect image rights, it is strictly forbidden to take photos of the workshops and art technicians.
- To respect the work of the silversmiths, no late arrivals will be tolerated.
- The tour includes numerous staircases and cobbled courtyards, so please avoid heeled shoes.
- During temporary exhibitions, this tour gives you free access to the current exhibition.
- During your guided tour, you will visit 2 of the 3 factories: the Gobelins factory and/or the Beauvais factory and/or the soap factory.
