Caving in the Ardèche Gorge

The Gorges de l'Ardèche are full of caves ideal for caving. For this activity near Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, no caving experience is necessary. Lionel will accompany you along the way and guide you through the most technical passages. Several formulas are available:

• Initiation from age 5 - 1h30/2h : no technical difficulties and no abseiling. Mainly horizontal profile.
• Discovery from age 10 - 1h45/2h30 : horizontal and vertical movements, small abseils and slightly narrow passages.
• Exploration from age 12 - 4h to 6h: for the most courageous who are not afraid of the time underground.
• Apéro spéléo from age 10 - 1h30/2h: combine exploration with an aperitif (alcohol-free) at the end of the day.
• Caving birthday party for 6-year-olds - 1h30/2h: celebrate your birthday in an original way with a timeless party.

Your guide: you'll be accompanied by Lionel, a state-qualified sports instructor. He'll guide you all the way.

How does it work?

After an equipment session, you'll descend into the cave, where the temperature is a constant 13°C all year round.
