Guided tours

• Discovery caving 3h or 7h - easy: you'll have to crawl, abseil or thread your way through the caves' narrow passages. Possible caves: Les Combes in Bannes, Peyroche in Saint Alban Auriolles or Champclos in Naves.
• Caving at Grotte de la Cocalière (meeting point directly at the cave) 7h - From age 12 - sporty: you'll retrace the steps taken by cavers when they discovered the cave. You'll abseil, hike and cross lakes by boat, all underground.

Your guide: you'll be accompanied by a state-certified instructor.

How does it work?

Meet at our partner's leisure center (except for Grotte de la Cocalières packages, which go directly to the cave) for an equipment session. You'll then have to make your own way to the cave (between 10 and 20 minutes' drive). You'll have to abseil, crawl and weave your way through narrow passages. All the while, you'll learn about the history of the Ardèche region, its specific geological formations and other concretions: stalagmites, stalactites, drapery, circles, etc... Short approach and/or return walk to the cave, approx. 15 min (1h for the Cocalière cave).
