- Drawing: generally, the creation of a piece of jewelry begins with a drawing or sketch, which is then glued or engraved onto the plate.
- Cutting: the metal is sawn with a bocfil in a smooth, regular motion.
- Filing: to redefine irregular edges, the metal is filed forward with files of varying shape and grain.
- Texturing: there are several techniques for texturing metal, including hammering, punching, reticulation, chiseling, etc.
- Shaping: once the metal has been torched, it softens and can be shaped as you wish, by bending, twisting or stamping it...
- Welding (brazing): during this stage, you join the different metals together using an alloy.
- Finishing/assembly: to perfect your jewel, you polish it with emery paper, steel wool or cloth coated with polishing paste.
