Enter the magical and enigmatic world of a timepiece! During this small-scale initiation, you'll unravel its mysteries: disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, lubrication and adjustment of a Manufacture Suisse ETA 6498 and 6497 (Swatch Group) movement will no longer hold any secrets for you.

Course of the workshop (4h30):

• Learn how the automatic and hand-wound mechanisms equipping the most prestigious watches work.
• Handle the parts that make up the caliber: understand the complex mechanism that mobilizes the barrel, gears, escapement, anchor and balance-spring.
• You'll sit behind a real watchmaker's workbench equipped with professional-quality tools including: a movement holder, a magnifying glass, precision screwdrivers, tweezers, a bulb, rodico and much more...
• You'll handle the leading brands of watchmaking tools such as Bergeon, Elma, Beco, Moebius, Eschenbach...
• You'll also learn about haute horlogerie maintenance techniques such as polishing, lubrication, chrono-comparator adjustment and movement verification and control.
