Riddle me this: what do the Sun King and the Bee Emperor have in common? Clue 1: Wounded dragons used to come here to recover. Clue 2: It's a story of great conquerors taking care of their troops Clue 3: It now houses the Musée des Armées.
Tour (1h30) :
- With a small activity booklet in hand, our tour guide takes your children to Les Invalides for a fun, participative investigation to discover who Bonaparte was, how he became Napoleon 1st and all the legacies he left us.
- Between the search for clues and stories of conquests and horses: who was the "grand Vizier" of the "little Emperor"? Which was the fire-breathing dragon or grenadier? Unicorns, bicorns and tricorns - which can you still see today?
An enigmatic treasure hunt through paintings, sculptures and objects. A fascinating tour punctuated by anecdotes, because it's the little stories that make us love (and remember) the big ones.
