Presented as accessible from age 6 upwards, the children's version of the materials is not at all adapted to capture the attention of children or to their level of culture (for example, it lacks a park setting with a character they could identify with; more attractive iconography; less text and less technical vocabulary). The accompanying adult is left with a cumbersome tablet (of very limited use, since the arrival point is in fact the answer to which the clues point), an insufficiently precise map, and a booklet that has to be read in its entirety. Then there's the use of the telephone to collect more clues... One section of the brochure is clearly poorly designed, lacking precision for orientation. So you get lost (and apparently we weren't the only ones to get lost between Rue de la Bourse and Rue de la Banque...). Perhaps it would be sufficient to indicate a distance on the plaque and refer to the map at that precise moment... All this while managing 5 7-year-olds, which was very disappointing for a birthday outing. The guide had to join one of the 2 groups, and fortunately she did, because otherwise you're on your own with the only possibility of contacting the guide by phone. I was disappointed, especially as the tour was advertised as accessible to children aged 6 and over, which is clearly misleading.

There comes a point when the explanations don't allow us to orientate ourselves to continue: After finding the building's year of construction . A sentence is missing to direct us to the next street and back to the gallery entrance. There was another moment when we struggled to find the detective's name. But apart from that, we really enjoyed the tour: the galleries are superb, we learned a lot and discovered a really nice part of Paris! Thanks for the experience.
