Spend an afternoon discovering the Loire wines of the Vouvray appellation. In a small group and by minibus, you'll explore the Loire wine route and meet a characterful producer at a winery in one of the best-known appellations.

Your tour begins at the Tours tourist office, where your guide will be waiting for you, before heading off to Vouvray, famous for its sparkling wines. Here, you'll meet a producer on his estate and discover an underground troglodytic cellar dug out in the 10th century. You'll then enjoy a second wine tasting in the Amboise region, where white, rosé, red and sparkling wines are produced. Throughout the afternoon, as you stroll through the vineyards, you'll learn more about this grape variety, winemaking techniques and the art of wine tasting. You'll learn everything there is to know about Loire wines.
