Your visit: "Orsay and the forgotten painting

Guided tour - 2h - Indoor

Meet Marion Bonin, tour guide and great-granddaughter of an Impressionist painter. In her family, painting is not a hobby, it's a heritage. But where does this family interest in painting come from? Marion traced her family history back to her ancestor, Edouard Bonin.
Edouard Bonin rubbed shoulders with several Impressionists. It was one of them, a famous artist he called Maestro, who introduced him to painting... and who portrayed him in one of his paintings. The mystery remains, however, as no one has ever known which painting it was, or who this Maestro was!
Manet, Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Caillebotte and many others: their paintings will provide clues, milestones and revelations for understanding the Impressionist revolution...

Tour advantages :

  • A unique cultural discovery that's fun and educational at the same time.
  • A convivial family activity.

A vibrant, poetic and unforgettable visit awaits you!
