Introduction to cold saponification in Paris 11th arrondissement

Naomi, a passionate soap-maker, welcomes you to her workshop to help you discover the art of cold saponification and make your own 400g bar of soap.

Course of the workshop (2h-2h30):

• Introductions followed by an explanation of the principles of cold saponification, and the precautions to be observed when handling ingredients.
• Once you're fully equipped (goggles, gloves, smock), it's time to playchemist's apprentice!
• Following the instructions, you'll learn how to weigh the oils and mix them with the soda. You'll be given a choice of fragrance, color and design for your soap (marbling or two layers of color).
• Tidy up, then each participant leaves with a beautiful 400-gram soap.
