Discover tufting with David and get started with this unique textile technique by creating your own design! During this workshop, you’ll learn how to use a tufting gun and bring a pattern of your choice to life on a stretched canvas.

Workshop Schedule:

• Introduction to the equipment: David will introduce you to the tufting gun, the various tools, and the materials used. You’ll then get hands-on with the equipment to familiarize yourself with how it works and the proper techniques.
• Choosing a design: You can come with your own idea—which you’ll share in advance—or choose from the designs available on-site. Your creation can be made on a 40 × 40 cm canvas or on a round canvas up to 20 cm in diameter.
• Creating Your Design: After preparing the fabric and selecting your threads, you’ll gradually create your design using the tufting gun. David will guide you throughout the workshop to help you master the techniques and work with the different colors.
• Finishing touches: You’ll learn the key steps for giving your creation its final look, including gluing, cutting, trimming, and cleaning.

You’ll leave with a personalized textile creation, made according to your design and preferences. However, this piece will require several finishing steps to be completed by David after the workshop. You can then pick it up at a later date, according to the instructions you’ll receive on-site.
