Isabelle offers a Japanese bookbinding workshop in her Aubagne studio. During this activity, you'll learn the basics of bookbinding under her watchful eye, and create a flexible notebook.

What is bookbinding? It's a technique that simply consists of binding several sheets of a book together, potentially folded into a notebook.

Workshop schedule (3h) :

• Introduction to the basics of Japanese bookbinding and presentation of materials.
• Selection of paper and thread to personalize your notebook.
• Explanation of sewingtechniques for binding pages in Japanese style.
• Finalization of the binding and personalization of the book cover.
