Maxime Delavoix, an inhabitant of Paris in 1789, is entrusted by a mysterious sponsor with the mission of organizing the escape of an enigmatic prisoner locked up in the dungeons of the royal Bastille prison. It's July 14, 1789, and Maxime soon finds himself caught up in the hustle and bustle of events, all converging on one central point: the fortress of the Bastille.

How does it work?

  • When you arrive, a member of the team will give you your instructions, and will intervene at the end to designate the winning team.
  • In teams of 4/5 people, you'll solve the riddles to guide Maxime's footsteps through the ancient streets of 1789 and experience the storming of the Bastille from the inside.

A fascinating investigation into the events of one of the most important days in French history.

More suitable for children. It's a pity there's no thread running through the story, in the sense that the clues are only used to find a riddle at the end. No coherence between the clues and the story. We don't

Nice to wander around looking for clues, but not enough historical input on the French Revolution period.

Marie was great, but it was really too cold to enjoy. We skipped the dialogues and concentrated solely on the route and the puzzles. We picked up the booklet again in the warm evening. The price is excessive for a booklet and total autonomy outside, with no shelter or reward (a hot drink, for example). We wouldn't recommend this experience, even though it deserves to be of historical interest.
