Activity description :
- 1 hour
- For the 13-18 years old
Abbeville Stadium Automobile Circuit: Located near the Baie de Somme, the Stadium Automobile features several tracks on a single site. The circuit is both technical and fast, with a 2.4-km track, but the site also features a 900-meter safety track where your child can drive.
The McLaren 540C: From the British brand that is a Formula 1 world champion, this supercar with a 540 ch twin-turbo V8 engine offers race-worthy driving precision. Its carbon-fiber monocoque makes it both lightweight and rigid.
How the McLaren Driving Course Works:
- Your child will start with a digital briefing that will be emailed to them 72 hours before the course. It’s sure to get them excited!
- Once there, your child will start by completing two reconnaissance laps in an American-style safety car with an instructor at the wheel. This is a chance to get a feel for the circuit’s various turns.
- After a presentation on the McLaren’s technical specifications, it’s time to climb into the driver’s seat! Your child will take the wheel to complete the number of laps selected based on the package. The program includes learning driving techniques, where to focus their gaze, and the basics of acceleration and braking.
