The offshore boating license is the ideal training course for sailing enthusiasts who want to push back the limits of the open sea. Unlike the coastal license, it allows you to sail without any restrictions on distance or boat power, day or night, in France or abroad.

This extension is aimed exclusively at holders of the coastal license who wish to perfect their knowledge and gain greater autonomy.

How does it work?

Training for the offshore extension lasts between 20 and 24 hours over 4 days, and can be adapted to your schedule and learning pace, thanks to a choice of two formats.

• The intensive formula takes place over 4 consecutive days, at a rate of 6 hours per day. It's ideal for complete immersion and rapid progress, perfect for candidates wishing to obtain their extension in the shortest possible time.
• The classic formula, on the other hand, extends over 4 consecutive Wednesday afternoons, from 1pm to 6pm. It allows you to assimilate the concepts gradually, while reconciling the training with a professional or personal activity.

You'll be accompanied throughout by a professional trainer who will explain the theory and practice of navigation at sea, so you can earn your boating license!
