The Permis Mer Hauturier is the highest Sea Permit. To pass it, you must first pass the Coastal Sea Permit, then the Offshore Extension. There is no time limit for the Offshore Extension. We offer you the "Full Offshore Permit", including the Offshore Permit + the Offshore Extension, or, if you already hold the Offshore Permit, only the Offshore Extension.

How does it work?

We've been training for the Offshore Permit for 15 years, and we offer you the most effective formula for success: as soon as you register, we provide you with the teaching aids (course book, test book, etc.) and then train you for 3 days.

Training sessions take place over 3 consecutive days, just before the exam. This method gives us excellent results! We have pre-programmed courses, but if you already have a group, we can organize a "tailor-made" course for you. We also offer individual one-day courses, for beginners or advanced learners. Exams are held at the Lycée de La Mer Paul Bousquet, in Sète. A good command of the coastal license (chart, compass rose, buoyage, weather) is an important prerequisite for success. The offshore license is an extension of the coastal license, so you need to have the latter to sit the exam.
