On the farm, no waste! Let's learn together how to recycle waste paper. While making their own sheet of paper, children will discover the history, art and methods of making paper, from Antiquity to the present day, on our farm in Saint-Cyr-l'École, Yvelines.

Looking for an activity to do with your child? La Ferme Ouverte de Saint-Cyr welcomes children aged 5 to 12 for a recycled paper workshop.
Lasting 45 minutes, this workshop will introduce children to the techniques involved in recycling waste paper. An animator will explain the history of paper from Antiquity to the present day, and guide them through the making of a sheet of recycled paper.
The Papier Recyclé workshop gives access to the entire Ferme de Gally in Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole, including a visit to the animals. Children can admire the goats, sheep, cows, pigs, hair, donkeys, pigs and chickens of the Ferme Ouverte. At least one accompanying adult must be present for the farm visit and activity. For children aged 5 to 12.

Know before you go
- Workshops are limited to about 20 children.
- Workshop participants are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the session starts. Please bring your reservation voucher with you.
- Registration for the paper craft activity is limited to children ages 5 through 12.
- Children remain the responsibility of their guardians and parents, including during the activity.
- Please do not feed or pick up the animals for their well-being.
- A tour of the Ferme de Gally is included in the workshop price.
- In case of rain or cold weather, we will bring the animals inside.

- Weekends & holidays: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Île-de-France school breaks: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
