We offer this guided outing aboard one of the most iconic training boats: the Raquero, perfect for learning and enjoying the sea at the same time.

The Raquero is a boat used by many sailing schools thanks to its ease of handling, excellent stability, and design tailored for instruction. As a result, no prior experience is required. In addition, you’ll be accompanied by a certified instructor who will guide you throughout the activity, explaining each maneuver step by step and tailoring the session to your skill level.

• Before setting sail, the instructor will give you a brief theoretical introduction. You’ll learn, for example, how to identify the different parts of the boat, understand wind direction, and steer properly.
• However, the most important aspect of this Raquero experience is that you’ll be sailing hands-on from the very first minute. You’ll learn by doing, in a real-world environment and under actual conditions.
• During this outing, you’ll be able to actively participate in maneuvers such as tacking, gybing, trimming and lowering the sails, and even take the helm.
• Your instructor will also explain how to respond to changes in wind and how to maintain the boat’s stability. The activity will take place in Alcudia Bay, an ideal spot for sailing thanks to its open space, calm waters, and steady winds.

The outing lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. However, this duration may be slightly adjusted depending on weather conditions or the group.

The price includes use of the Raquero sailboat, a life jacket, personalized instruction from the instructor, and all the equipment needed for a complete experience.
